Want to add protection to my car that will be routinely parked in my garage. What do forum members recommend from their experience by either material type or manufacturer?
There are many makers of good covers. Just pick your poison. Some are made for outdoor use and some for indoor use. They provide protection for everything from dust to rain and prices run from $29.95 to $450.00+. Price IS and indicator of quality. I too park my vette in the garage and when it's going to be long term I cover with one I got at Wolf automotive for, I believe it was about $180.
My first one lasted three years and I'm on my second one now, The cover is a bit stiff when new but softens over time and with many on/off coverings. I've used 100% cotton covers in the past and while those are very soft, they are also VERY heavy and bulky.
Just ordered/received mine from Eckler's. It's the All-Season cover made by Wolf I believe. Awesome cover for garage kept cars, and can be used outside if the situation arises. Price was good too, I think the part # was 40800.
