I have a small tear in the drivers seat at the bolster. I have a seat bra? that is supposed to help pad and prevent premature wear in this area.
I know I will have to replace the seat covers, but is there anything I can do to minimize the tear , and how hard is it to install the new covers. Do at home or pro install.
Any help will be appreaciated as far as special tools, how long the job takes and any problems I should be aware of.
Oh by the way it is a sebring silver 98 coupe with standard black seats.
Go to the Vette Essentials website and take a look at their detailed instructions for replacing the seats. Fairly straight forward....just takes time, but with the instructions your......."In the Drivers Seat" Sorry, I couldn't help that one. Good luck.

I agree - the instructions on the Vette Essentials web site are very good and take you step by step. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, you can probably get it done very reasonably at an upholstery shop. I had my VE seat covers installed for a total cost of $100 for both seats.
