I'm installing a chrome plated air bridge. I'm trying to decide what to do about the air bridge logo, is there a really good decal out there, try and hand paint the logo or just what to do. Any ideas or pics of what others have done
I don't have chrome but I bought my airbridge decal from 91zr1 on ebay. His ebay store is Decal specialties. The price was reasonable, the service was good and I've had it on for 3 plus years now and it still looks new.
I bought an air bridge decal and painted the rest of the raised surfaces with a silver paint pen after having my air bridge painted Lemans Blue to match the car.
If I had it to do over, I wouldn't get the decal, just hand paint the emblem. My decal came in several pieces, installing the seperate white parts of the flag was a PITA
I have one and it looks great. Got it at Bloomington Gold last year from one of the vendors. It was $15 and it has held up well. It is hard to apply though because it came in separate pieces that were really small and I had to use tweezers to get it done.

If yours is chrome I don't know if painting it is a good idea. But it should help in the install of a vinyl one. A nice slick surface is always good for vinyl. Post some pics when you decide.
