Default Wheel question????

1st of all, I've always felt that chrome or high polished wheels don't look as good on a silver car as they would on a dark colored car. (more contrast). I really like the black centered motorsports wheels, and would like to get some for my quicksilver coupe. However, having black spokes, at a distance, not much detail is visible. So it doesn't matter if there are 5 or 10 spokes. So here's my question....has anyone taken the OEM thin spoke wheels and painted them black? I mean just the 5 spokes, leaving the outer rim and center polished. If so, I'ld love to see some pics!! Thanks....

That's a good look on a silver car. It was one of my choices.... went with polished.

I fully understood your post and that it's your preference. No need to feel offended or misunderstood It's just your preference happens to be black, and mine is chrome.
Either way they ALL look AWESOME!

No offense taken, just wasn't sure you "got my drift". My preference is chrome or polished over black. However, I do like the contrast that black centered wheels offer over chrome with a "light" colored car.
