***About that "Disturbing Article" ***



Looks like the firm that did the survey (NOP World) is some British outfit, and we know what British automotive types think about Corvettes.
Apparently, it was a global survey or at least one slanted toward Europeans. Furthermore, the survey was most likely aimed at those individuals with large amounts of money. Hence, the preference of high-dollar automobiles and the total lack of mention of the Corvette.
Unless I'm really mistaken, the car most American guys have grown up lusting after has been the Corvette. I know things change and there are some really fast import cars now, but whenever a lot of kids see Red Racer, their eyes glaze and they shout, "Nice car!"
I'd like to see a survey of American males on what their "top ten" favorite cars are. I'd bet my next paycheck that the Corvette would be on that list.
