I made the move and purchased the Red Top last night as the AC Delco battery was acting up. I had read a lot of threads on the Red Tops and the 75/35 seemed like it was common replacement.
The battery store insisted that the battery for my car was the 75/25 so that is what I went with. However, I still was not confident in the model number I was given last night, so I called Optima's Customer Service number this morning. Optima confirmed that they just recently changed the model number of the 75/35 to 75/25.
Just thought I would pass this along in case anyone else goes out shopping for this battery and is confused as I was on the 75/25 model number.
I have the 34/78.
Web site shows both the 34/78 and the 75/35 for the '97-00.
'01-03 calls for the 75/35 with height adjuster. oddly enough - no matches for the '04.

Starting with the '04 year model, Corvettes come stock with a standard lead acid battery with top posts. They had enough quality problems with the ACDelco AGM battery that they had to go back to lead acid. They remembered the earlier years of C5's where the acid would leak down the side posts/cables all over the computer wiring, and decided to go with top posts.
The Optimas come with both side and top posts, so it should fit OK.

Bingo! My 4 yr old Delco looked beautiful. It wasn't 'til I took it out this past winter and stuck it into my winter beater Saturn (dead Saturn battery) that I encountered that issue. Took me quite a while to clean up the mess under the battery.
...also, I believe that the 34/78 has more CCA than the 75/35.

Thanks for sharing. This will help when the time comes to replace the OEM battery!
