I hope to get near or over 400rwhp with this 01.

Putting in crane 1.8 rockers and dual springs tomorrow. Will be a few weeks before I dyno.

For the crane race gold rockers, dual springs and Ti retainers its about $1000, so not very cost effective. But I broke a spring so why not?

I started with a base line of 360RWHP "Bone stock".

1. K&N cold air intake 368
2. Supermaxx LT's High flow Cats, X-pipe 30lbs injector, and a Dyno tune. 383RWHP

It's now time for a cam

Dropped of my 2003 at A&A - looking for 415 to 425 at the wheels with LT, CAI, Cam and Charlie magic on the dyno. What do you mean your not sure if it will pass smog?

How much is 415+ at the crank?

(BTW- Andy and Charlie ROCK!)

I would suggest these things

-Long Tubes
-High flow/no cats
-The stock cat back flows fine so if you are on a budget no need to replace it
-Rockers
-Air intake (Donaldson, Vararam etc...)
-Pulleys
-Dyno Tuning
These items should get you very close to 400 rwhp with stock reliability and driveability.... these are the exact same mods I have planned for my car....good luck

Mike
I agree with MIKES statement above and the aftermarket rocker arms with the aformentioned bolt on listed by Mike will give you over 400rwhp!!! Call Speed Inc (LS1 Speed) in Schaumburg, IL, as they did these same mods to their 02 Z shop car a couple of seasons ago and pulled around 415rwhp I believe with the standard bolt ons, etc.!!! By putting on new rocker arms you do not touch the internals of the motor but will have to swap out valve springs!!!

I need a set of AFR heads. You can see by my sig. basically 425 SAERWHP 403 SAERWT as we speak. With the heads I should be 440rwhp+ I hope. Then I'll want something else.......Fast 90/90 I imagine.
