Default Auto Train

I am planning to take the Autotrain on our vacation this fall and will be driving my '98 C5. Has anyone had experiences good or bad with Autotrain?

Remember a post a long time ago about the clearance of a C-5 loading onto the train. Might want to check if they can load it.

Can't speak to the vette clearance issue, but I took the autotrain once and had a great experience. they took good car of my classic Olds, staff was courteous, food was good, and there was an overall jovial spirit. Better than driving for sure.

The Autotrain only goes from Lorton, VA (Woodbridge) to Sanford, FL (Orlando) and back. Nah, nah.

I suspect that they might have problems with a car that's been lowered, which your's appears to be. They have to drive them up fairly steep ramps to get them up into the cars. You know what that means.

There was an identical thread here about two weeks ago, with some good tips. Search it.
