Another vote for Borla Stingers here! I've had my '02 C5 for two months now and that's the first mod I've done. Nice deep sound at idle and mean and nasty at WOT.
Does anyone know if Borla Stinger makes a "poppoing" sound... Like Corsa does? Do Borlas make more interior noise than Corsa? Who's design gives better exhaust flow....and better gains...?
Thanks...in advace.... Your replies would be educational for All...
I get what I think you are referring to as popping sounds when I am coasting down a hill or if I downshift. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but this I believe is eliminated if you get an X-pipe instead of the stock H-pipe.
I don't mind the interior noise on Borla Quad Stingers and I have sensitive hearing. I haven't compared to Corsas. All catbacks are very minimal gains in HP from what I have seen.
When you are cruising at your favorite highway speed if the sound of the cat back's gets in your head and you cant stand it that’s interior resonance or DRONE.
I love my GHL's but if resonance is an issue, go with the Bullets and not the Magnums. I agree with others though, listen to a few before you buy.
I'm thinking about the GHL's and headers, but I don't want to get too loud and don't want any drone at normal speed. Can anyone comment on the GHL's with headers (short, long, brand)? Thanks!

I think you'll really like GHL and LT headers. I had Stingers and LT headers (before H/C) and the car sounded incredible! Don't do shorties, you don't gain anything out of them. Do LTs! I'm partial to LGM LT Headers, but I understand Kooks are very good too and not as pricey. But you get the most performance gains out of LGMs!
