Default Cat back Exhaust Which one????

Guys,
I'm going to be picking up an 02 C5 in the next few weeks and am already looking into changing the exhaust. My question is which one do I go with? I haven't heard an of them in person only wav files on the net. Currently, I like the Corsa Touring Editions... don't like the pace car is to euro for me. I want something that is deep and sounds more like a mustang with flowmasters. Corsa also states they have NO responance inside the car. Any help from you guys would be GREAT. Thanks,
Dave

If you want "deep" sound, you probably don't want Corsa's.

Your best bet is to find some Corvette owners in your area, maybe attend a Vette Club meeting, and ask to listen to different brands. Most guys are very willing to light up their engines and rev 'em for you. That's really the only way to make an informed decision.

Click the "Forums" menu item on the upper left part of this page, go to "Events & Regional" and click "Northeast." That's the area for guys in New York that will certainly be able to help you. Post your questions there and I'm sure you'll get some responses.

Good luck!

I like the Borlas myself. But as many suggest, meet up with other vette owners and listen to theirs. You should listen to them inside and outside the car.

If your looking for that deep sound, I personally think the Borlas would be best for that. They are one of my favorite mods, thats for sure.

I listened to a couple of systems and went with Borla stingers. Take the time to listen to a few and you'll make the right choice.

Borla Stingers would be a good choice. Maybe B&B Bullets.

Default Not deep

I wouldn't describe Corsa Tourings as sounding deep, more like a scream or shriek when you get on it and absolutely no resonance

I love my Tourings both in WOT, cruise - pretty quiet, and in decel with the popping

Corsa's RULE

I have Magnaflow Catback w/ X-Pipe, My Fiance' has Borla Stingers.........

My Vote...........Borla Stingers (little to no interior resonance) & sounds DAMN good at idle, revving, and going down the road!!!!!

Does anyone know if Borla Stinger makes a "poppoing" sound... Like Corsa does? Do Borlas make more interior noise than Corsa? Who's design gives better exhaust flow....and better gains...?

Thanks...in advace.... Your replies would be educational for All...

Find a vette club and listen to members exhaust set ups. Remember, it's the whole package that makes the sound. My ti's sound different that most because of other mods. See sig below.

Hope you find what you are looking for!
