Default Larger Wheels & Tires?

Considering going from stock 17/18 combo to 18/19 or larger combo. Car is 04 coupe, if it matters. Is it necessary to get the car realigned? Reason I ask is that the car is a daily driver and I would like to be able to put the stock wheels & tires back on whenever road salt is a concern.

I'm running 18's all around with 265x35 and 295x35. Lowered a little and looks great. Added the Z06 alignment and bars and this thing handles great.

I have 19's all the way around (19/275/35, 19/305/35), with no problems. I lowered my car on stock bolts, and had to get it realigned after a week after the car settled.

245/35zr18 on frt and 305/30zr19 on rear. Lowered as far as it will go on stock bolts. No clearance issues at all. I did not re-align because I like the negative camber for more level and aggressive turn-ins.

That's exactly the setup I am considering. Let me know if you experience any unusual wear. Thanks.

It will definetely get some inside wear due to the negative camber, but that's how it goes. I'm in wholesale tire business so I don't really stress irregular and rapid wear issues. However, even dropped all the way this platform will still be able to get the right alignment specs. Go for it!!!

Best,

Cool still may want to have you alignment checked so that it is even on both sides.

18" on all fours too. front 18x11 front rim and 18x12 rear rim ( 3/8 spacer too and GY 18x25.5x11.5 (18x 310/33 metric) on all four corners.
