I still don't quite understand the word "profiled" as people use it on this forum...are people trying to say that police pull them over because the officer just assumes that they are speeding because they are driving a Corvette?...or are people saying that they are speeding but get plucked out of the crowd because the car draws more attention than the others?
It seems like such an odd term to use in either circumstance. Will someone please clarify?

Why couldn't the definition fit "both" circumstances?

Ryan,
Does it really make a difference? In either case, the attention their getting is unwanted... I personally don't think LEO's give a damn what anyone drives but if there was a pack of cars running together, I'm sure my attention would go to the cool looking bright red sportscar.
Mark
PS. Damn it, you were suppose to call me today so I could check on that paint. I was so freakin' busy, I forgot... I'll try to get it done tomorrow. My apologies.

Why does it make a difference? Because it is sort of a loaded term. I just think it is strange...that's all. Often when people use the term on here there is a suggestion that the officer's actions were somehow improper. It is perfectly acceptable to pull the shiny red car over, even though others are speeding. Hell, it happened to me on Monday. The officer even told me that the only reason he noticed my in his sideview mirror was the Torch Red. Sigh...
Mark, about the paint...I stopped by the Autozone near your shop tonight. All they had was yellow, silver and black It's driving me crazy...finding the red duplicolor Kit in Charlotte is way too difficult. I appreciate your willingness to help. I'll just call them periodically. I'm sure it will be in stock sometime. Thanks.
So he sped up to you in his gas guzzling Expedition? Then sped off after telling you to slow down? So why does he get to sped and break the law? At least you didn't get the real po po on you.
