I once saw a woman - it just happend to be a woman - with her 30 lb dog sitting in her lap with it's paws up on the steering wheel while she talked on the phone struggling to se around the dog.
Let's see......in all my years of travel across the states.....
1)guy shaving
2)girl shaving (legs and....)
3)brushing teeth
4)reading newspaper or book
5)putting on makeup
6)eating cereal or something out of a crockpot
7)cigarette in one hand, cellphone against ear, waving other hand in rush hour traffic
8)dog/cat sitting in lap
9)girl(s)flashing b**bies
All of this and probably more over the years traveling. But my biggest peeve is cell phone drivers/talkers. Too many close calls........

It always gets me when people drive around with their pet in their lap. Don't know how they think they can keep control of their vehicle in an emergency situation.
And then there are those who miss a turn or exit and instead of proceeding to the next, stop and reverse, whether the is adequate room to do so or not...
I witnessed an identical retard here in toronto watching a t.v mounted in the sunvisor...The visor was all the way down in front of his face. I still to this day don't see how he could see the road in front of him. I was behind him on the highway at night doing about 100 (km/h) and I just paused beside him, gave him a look and got out of there as I knew this guy would be in the rail sooner or later...all the others I've witnessed as well...some crazy idiots out there..
THE BEST one yet, was last week (or 2 now)but I didn't see it. It's been all over the news here in toronto. A truck driver hauling milk had his 11yr old daughter driving the truck for a bit!!!! Cops pulled it over as they were out doing a blitz that weekend on that highway and thought they seen a minor driving...sure enough, 11yrs old...the guy is charged w/h a bunch of stuff. But it just boggles the mind to know this moron actually hindered his life, his daughters and everyone on the road w/h a 50000lb truck...should go to jail, w/h no license ever to be seen again...
I used to take the bus to work. On the way home one evening during a snow storm, traffic was stop & go. Looked down and could see the back of some girl giving the driver some road head. The driver had his hand in the back of the girls pants.
They drive on past us, a couple of mi down the road we pass them up! Turns out the girl in the passenger seat was a guy!
I stopped looking in other peoples cars after that!
I once convinced my friend to jump out of my car at 25mph onto the tree belt. Needless to say he returned a little bruised.
Or how about snow sliding. This needs to be done after a recent snow storm so that there is a coating of snow over the roads. Hold onto the rear bumper of a car with your feet firmly on the ground, lean back a little, and get pulled. It gets a little scary above 20mph
Saw a guy driving at night, in the rain, holding a cell phone up to each ear and steering with his elbow This was on Route 3 going 65 mph in Clifton, New Jersey. (If you did't know, in NJ it's illegal to drive and use a handheld cell phone)

Yesterday, my wife was hit by a lady driving with a puppy in her front seat. She got distracted by the puppy, blew a stop sign and clipped the back bumper of my wifes minivan at almost 40 mph. Thank God, no one was hurt.
A split second earlier and she would have t-boned the minivan on the driver's side. I had 3 of the people I hold most dear on that side of the minivan...wife (driver), 16 month old son (behind wife in car seat), and my father (in the third row seat).
People should have pets in a carrier, or confined to the trunk area of a SUV/van/etc, and not roaming freely.
