Well its here june 16th. Im going to take the car on a nice ride this morning no work today.Ill be smiling,i always am when i get in her.Ive been very lucky to make it this far,as more than a few of the people that i went to high school are no longer with us.I get ribbed about when i got my car that i was going thru a mid life thing, who knows ,whats the big deal,if i am so be it.The fact that i can afford the greatest american sports car ever made, and live in the greatest place on earth,is to me a blessing. My best freind was just told he has cancer ive been hanging with him hes going thru cemo it sucks.Another guy i know was just killed on a cycle,as he was stoped, making a turn,he was hit from behind by a truck and he was only28,This life we are in one never knows when it will end.One thing for sure is to live every day like its your last.Heres to all my forum buddies, hoping you all get to drive your car TODAY,hug your children, make peace with someone that you are having a silly problem with LIVE TODAY.God bless all of our troops for making me be able to take my car for a ride in the greatest place in the world.............. Kevin
I agree with your statement. We are here for a very short time and for people that think working there backs off and never enjoying life I feel sorry for. Unfortunately we all need to work (well most of us), but we all should find that balance between work and LIVING. Seems like you have.

Kevin before i got my car my married daughter told me only old people drive vettes i didn't care what she said i bought the vette anyway because that is what i wanted.Since i have the car now she goes around and tells all her friends my mother has a vette strangers come up to me and tell me your daughter told me you have a vette.I have found out since i have been on the corvette forum that older people are not the only ones who have vettes.I myself had 2 vettes when i was alot younger. This is not a midlife crisis for me i am a car lover all ways have been and always will be and i love my vette more then some people i know.So drive your vette and don't worry about what people say and don't forget to wave.GOD BLESS THE USA
