So, I hope I have this right. Is the trap the extra part that takes the place of your license place holder in front? That is the part I want with the intake. Can anyone point me to a website where they carry these?
You're thinking about the Tunnelport. The TRAP doesn't need the Tunnelport, but installing it (as an option) will direct cold air to the Warhead filter. If you use just the TRAP, then opening up the foglight panels is a good idea.
No, he's right. The trap goes through the front license plate. The stinger doesn't.
Thanks for helping out Jackalope . I went to the site Eminent pasted and didn't see the tunnelram or the trap. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you everyone.
Edit: Saw tunnelport, but no info on it besides the cost. Hmm, has anyone actually installed one?

What do you mean by that?
So, could I just open up the area with the tunnel port and leave the fog area same? Will opening the fog area up and addig the screens improve upon simply using the tunnel port?

Sorry, I meant tunnelport, not tunnelram.
Using the Tunnelport, which directs air from a cutout in the license plate area of the front fascia to the Warhead filter, is more effective (as far as creating the most direct path of cold air to the filter) than leaving the license plate cover on and opening up your fog light panels. However some C5 owners do not like the look of a screened opening that is so prominent. Having both areas open certainly can't hurt anything, but opening up the foglight panels after installing the Tunnelport is unlikely to bring about a significant improvement.
There used to be a video of the TRAP installation in Halltech's website, although if the TRAP is being discontinued, the video may have been removed.
