I just recently moved and my driveway doesn't blend in smoothly with the street. It's design is like a backsward question mark (?). That's the best description I can come up with.
I can pull into the driveway and never scrape the spoiler, but when I back out of the driveway I scrape it everytime.
Am I doing something wrong or do I just have to live with it?
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rock

Sounds like you maybe entering at an angle and backing out straighter, pay attention to the angles your going in and out and see if this solves the problem.

Yep....try to hit the transition at a 45 degree angle. Easier coming in than going out, but that's life. You could create a turnaround area and hit it going forward also.
I have the same problem and, yes, I scrape more backing out than driving in. I think in my case as I drive off the "lip" from the drive to the road the car settles a bit and that is what causes the scrape. Going in it bounces a bit and doesn't scrape. (I'm doing both of these very slowly, so the effect is very tiny but enough). Its done it in all 4 of my C5s and I have never had to replace the air dam, so it sounds worse than it is...
I found on my driveway backing out at an angle slowly makes it scrape worse. I now back out at an angle and at a moderate pace and it hardly scrapes at all.
