I have recently put these tires on my rear wheels and I am running the KUMHO ASX on the front. These KUHMO MXs are AWESOME!
I have been to the track on two different occasions and thesetires have given me no traction issues and the are such a great ride on the highway and other roads! I couldn't be more pleased!
Well I need something fast after deployment and SEARS didn't have the MX in stock and everywhere I called I had to back order them for at least a week, some more.
After reading more about the ASX and the rating was a 4 star out of 5, I like the all season on the ASX mainly for braking purposes. When they are shot, I will be putting MXs all the way around.

I totally know how that goes! I have ASX's on the front, and they have no grip. I have to try especially hard to keep the car neutral around a corner, and have to pray if I want oversteer....I do have T1 bars though....
They are HIGHLY temperature dependant. I'll spin 3rd easy in the winter and can often mash 1st on a sticky day and mostly hook in the summer. Watch out at the track, you can grease them if you're not careful...they get SOFT. Had balled up rubber in the grooves after 10 laps 2 weeks ago.
BTW: Run them at 35psi, not 30psi like the runcraps. Had all sorts or issues at Tail of the Dragon running 30psi.
Yeah, I figured I'd spawn a comment or three like that. Whatever. Maybe SOME people didn't realize how sticky Kumhos were when they purchased them. Maybe SOME people ran with Firehawks before and didn't have a problem with seemingly undue wear. Maybe SOME people were ignorant as to tire choice. Doesn't mean they lack sense. Sorry I mentioned it.
Do what ever you want (safely) but don't blame the tire. I drive the pis$$ out of my vette - mostly on twisties and they work great. I assume that burnouts were done at a track where they have a purpose. If so, that's just the cost of racing which anyone with experience knows. If it's on the street - it's just .....
