Default Wheres the Vettes?

So here it is National Drive Your Vette To Work Day! There I am in the Vette all ready to see hundreds of Vettes on the road and I'm ready to wave and have a big time only I saw less than normal! So I thought that I would wave to you all where ever you are! Heres a wave to you from Oklahoma City!

I'm with ya! I work at Bank One - about 7,000 people in this building and on Wednesday of this week I saw 7 in the garage. Today, mine and one other. ????

Drive in to Chicago every day and didn't see any other Vette but my own. I remember one club meeting that had Mike Yeager there from Mid Amer Motorworks and he made a comment " I'm sure none of you have the vette as a daily driver." BS.

What's the deal??
I'm in Dallas, usually see 3-5 on the way to work, barely saw one vert this morning.
Hopefully at lunch time they'll come out, it's Fri. and nice weather, you'd think there'd be more naturally let alone a day like today???
I even took the top off so I could wave extra big at them.

I'm bummed out...another day of rain in central Florida. Doesn't seem worth it to drive 10 minutes to work in the rain and home again just to spend 3 hours detailing it! Oh well, another day. Did see 1 Vette on the way though....sure would have loved to way from my Vette!

On my way to work (20 miles of surface street driving), I saw:

1 C3
1 C5

No waves.

I would but there is a chance of severe weather this afternoon. My corvette is going to stay in the garage today!

Not a single Corvette on the way to work. Saw 2 yesterday. Hopefully I'll see some on the way home.

I forgot to set my alarm yesterday and overslept. With my commute, leaving late would have been a nightmare so I stayed home. Doesn't have anything to do with wanting to install my Alpine IVA-D900 or aluminum gauge bezels. Strictly a coincidence.
