however at the very least you'll get a fresh new top at the expense of the insurance comapny ..

I'm sorry to hear that you doing the right thing resulted in this. I agree with others, my biggest fear with the Vette is other people. I just doesn't pay to have nice things. So many just don't get it.

That sucks. I know it is a lot to ask of people but I have a few people who will come and get me and my car no matter how late and I would do the same for them.
