Default Another Z06 screen question

Since were on the topic of Z06 screen...

Are their any difference between the GM/OEM Z06 screens (fog light area) verses aftermarket ones; like from Zip, Eckler's. Mid America, TKO and etc.? I know some use double-sided tape and other use velco. But is that it... the type of install and (of course) price?

I just got back from the chevy dealer to prefit a set of oem front grille's, they look great, just don't know how to keep them in place. I'm not removing the nose to do it. If anyone has any idea's, let me know. I'll keep you posted on my progress. but I would go oem, my cost on a set is a little under a hundred bucks...

I got mine from corvettes of houston, about $75. They came with double sided tape attached, I used velcro instead. I like mine.

If the ones from the forum vendors state they are OEM, then there would be no difference. The ones I have personally seen that are not factory look close to the OEM ones, but there is a little difference. Not enough to be real noticable, but I just prefer the OEM ones.

For ALX99, you can use heavy duty velcro to keep the screens on the car. I just put some velcro on the side and bottom of the screen then did the same for the corresponding area on the car. Has worked just fine for four years.

Not sure about any differences.
I got mine from MidAmerica and they are held in by double-sided tape. Easy install, and it survived a crash where I had to get the front bumper and hood replaced. Same screens, though.
