Color Combination info.
Hello All
Sold my 1982 Collector Edition and I'm doing my homework to upgrade to a C5 in the next few months.
Question !!! How can I find out the how many C5s Coupe were built in a specific color combination ?? For example: Spiral Gray with a Tourch red interior.
Any links or information will be greatly appreciated.

The specific info that you are looking for has been very hard to come by. You can visit a site like:
http://www.idavette.net/facts.htm
(up to 2002 datat) and with some interpretation get some general ideas regarding how many of each. The Corvette little black book is also an invaluable resource but I'm not sure if (other than thru GM) you will find the exact build numbers of what color with what interior and so on.

GM didn't put the info out in that form for the C5. The GM final production numbers for each year only show numbers for each option, not combinations. There is no way to get the info in the form that you are wanting of which I'm aware. You can find number for each of the individual options for the C5 years at the following link. After clicking on the C5 model year, click on either Production and Performance or Production on the next page that appears: Corvette Model Center

Hello, I own such a combo! The closest I got for numbers for my year '03 was 2086 MSG coupes made, and 231 coupes ordered with torch red interior. However for the number of the combo I have is not available. By the numbers I just gave you though it is low! MSG was discontinued in Apr '04

Thank you all for the information and links. Time to crunch some numbers.
I saw this combination first on a Convert. It was AWSOME.
Then I saw a C5 in this combination for sale on Ebay. I fell in love when I first saw the Spiral Grey, but with a Red Int. it really make the color stand out.
I can see this car in my driveway in the future.

Why would it matter to you how many others are the same color combo? If you like it thats what is important. Would you buy a color combo you didn't like just because nobody else did either? The resale will be better on the popular colors.
