Anyone with HUD seen shift light yet?

Yeah I knew about it and I see it all the time. I've got an A4 and when I stick my foot thru the floor (also known as instructing the car to execute maximum acceleration) I see it just as the car shifts to the next gear.

honest to god i dont even notice it when im hard driving unless im looking at the hud. some shift light this is its almost to the point you have to be looking for it when you need to shift. i didnt know it was there till i was reading my manual and tried it out.

The shift light will come on just before you reach the redline RPM point. At least that is where it comes on in my 6-speed. Seen it several times.
