A while back I found a penny lodged in my console power outlet.
Now it's not working. I checked fuse #1 and it was fine. Put in a new fuse just to be sure, still nothing. My question is this: Is there something in the outlet itself thay may have shorted out or is there some other "in-line" fuse I need to check? I'm assuming if it's the outlet I should just be able to remove it and replace it ...right?
Thanks
Larry
Uh oh, you better trade that thing in on a new one before it blows up... But seriously aside from checking the fuses, make sure the connections are tight on the back. Has happened to me before. Also, you may want to use a circuit tester to see if there is power going to the hot wire.
