Got the BBK in today. Kind of a pain in the butt. The rubber grommets didn't want to hold it down too good and still aren't right. The tube to the throttle body needs to be about an inch longer. Getting it lined up w/ the grommets and still clamp it on there was a major hassle. I'll work with it, but I wish the designers of these kinds of things would make things a little easier. Another inch on that tube would have made the install 100% easier. Still waiting on the plenum and the washer & coolant covers in aluminized carbon fiber from TKO.
A coupe of years ago I ordered a similar product and had to send it back. Unfortunately I was out the labor that it took to discover fittiment issues. I decide that some of that stuff, even though it looks sharp, just isnt worth it sometimes. Now its Functional first, aesthetics 2cnd.
What makes me mad is that these things are vehicle specific and waaaaaaaay overpriced. You would think they would put a little more time into the design.
It looks good. Did you get a mass airflow senser also? I was looking at this same product. So are you saying you would not recomend it? Where did you purchase it? I only saw a the titanium one on mid american.

The original MAF sensor is reused. I like it. Just have to tweak it a bit. The SS radiator cover I have didn't help the grommet issue because it sits up a bit higher. I did some price searching and got it at JEG'S. Quick shipping and good contact w/ a tracking number.

The radiator support cover is the problem due to raising the height. Had that same cover angle cut at a metal shop to solve the issue. You will LOVE the aluminized carbon fibre covers........
SORRY FOR THE GIGANTIC PICS
