Both of my remotes are set with the passive turned OFF. But one still works as passive even though it is turned off. I have reset both but the one still locks and unlocks by itself, even though it is switched to the off position. Does anyone know why this is?
You may want to try the switch 2-3 times (flick it to on and then off again) and that should send the signal to the circuit board. I'm guessing it didn't contact the first time you did it.

That should do the trick. The little switch gets dirty and the contacts get funny on them.
