Default Question, installing Bilsteins

Installing Z06 springs, sway bars and Bilsteins. Installed the front Bilsteins tonight after the spring with the four a-arm bolts removed, used the hardware supplied with shocks. Can't get threads to show above upper nut, upper insulator is compressed. Does this sound correct?

In a word, no. Sounds like you might have the upper shroud above the circlip..It need to go below the circlip. As you go up from the bottom, on the shaft, first will be the rubber bumper, the shroud, circlip, lower washer, rubber, chassis, rubber, upper washer, nut. Does this sound familiar?

That is normal. I had the Devil's own time getting my top bolts started. Eventually used a Vice Grip to compress the 2 top rubber isolators.

A second pair of hands would have made the job easy, but I installed them alone
