Default NXT Detail Spray

Well,

Tonight my wife and I went to the grocery store, and I made my obligatory stop in the car care aisle. They had a limited supply of stuff, but I noticed some of the NXT spray detailer. I figured I'd try the detail spray and pick up some of the wax when my current wax runs out and depending on how I like the spray.

I got home, dusted the car off, and the wife and I began applying (she helps me out every time). I made a mental note not to make my decision until the whole car was done. As I was finishing up the last part of the hood, my wife says, "Hey, Honey! Look at the sunset!" I instinctively look west at which point she says, "No! Not on the horizon...on the car!" She was right, the reflection was amazing. We quickly finished up the Vette, and washed/detail sprayed her Outback. The Outback looks equally as good.

I have only tried 3 other spray detail products: black magic, meguiars gold class, and Z2, so my opinion may be a bit flawed. This, in my opinion, however, takes the cake. It was truly something to behold. I'll be using this stuff frequently, and definitely recommend it to those who are apprehensive about diving into the NXT wax. Try the spray detailer first!

Thats good to hear. I have been using Meguires Quick Detailer and I am amazed at how glossy my paint has been getting. It basically looks like the paint is wet. My car does not go out in crummy weather so more and more coats of it add up and everytime I swear it looks better.

I have been curious as to how good the NXT spray is. I might have to try it since I am running low on Meguires now.

Thanks

Z2 is the polish, no wonder it didn't match up to the NXT detailer.

Did you mean the Z6?

I am glad you found something you like.

Thanks. There have been a number of past reviews on the NXT over in the Car Care Products section of the Forum and a fair number there seem to like it too.

May have been Z6. My Brother-in-law actually applied it. I'll have to double check. All I know is that it is a purple liquid and it's in a squirt-type bottle.

Is the NXT spray detailer different than the spray wax? I saw some spary wax but not any marked detailer.

NXT products are sweet...the spray is really only meant to be used on top of a coat of NXT wax.

Same question... I've been using NXT and then the NXT Spray Wax booster product. Is that what you used or is there an NXT version of the Quick Detail Spray?

It looks even better when you put it over the NXT wax.

there is NXT spray wax and spray detailer. They are different.

My take is that the spray wax is for giving your car that "just waxed" look inbetween washes. I have it and just spray it on, rub it around and let haze and than buff out.

The spray detailer you just spray in and rub out, I use that for removing bugs and other items.

I also use the liquid and paste NXT wax

I've had NXT on my car for a couple of months now but picked-up some "Detailer" at AutoZone today... very easy to do, wipe on/wipe off... no drying time in between. Did the whole care in a few minutes... I put it in my trunk so I can touch it up when I'm on the road with time on my hands.... seems like a nice product... gives one hell of a shine ! ... THREE thumbs up !
