A week ago, my car was attacked by birds who had been taking shots of turbo-lax when I ran out of Z6....I went down to walmart and picked up some NXT quick detailer just to use on water spots and/or bird bombs.

I found it to work equally as well as the Z6 spray, only it seems to smear less b/c it's almost water like in the way it goes on....Though it's very easy to use too much.

As far as slickness...nothing can top the Zaino Z8 Grand Finale...but NXT quick detailer works great for spot cleanings on both my vette and GTO.

I've used both and have no complaints with either

I got some the other day. Tried it on the hood only, then it rained. The water beaded up just like a fresh coat of wax. The NXT line of products is really great!

I just started using NXT detail after using Turtle Wax Ultra ... both good IMHO and readily available

As a bit of a follow up, I did the whole Zaino run-down today (minus claybar and a few misc steps) to attempt to give myself a somewhat "non-biased" comparison. After doing Z1, Z2 and Z6 (don't have any Z8 yet), I can say that the car *feels* a lot smoother than with just the NXT detail spray. Obviously, this isn't an apples-to-apples comparison since I only did the NXT detail spray, and did a much more in-depth Zaino application, but it led me to a few results:

- If you have the time/energy, Zaino's results are amazing
- I want to try NXT wax + NXT detailer, as per the forum's recommendation to get a better comparison
- If you're short on time, or just want to get a nice shine after you wash, either Z6 or the NXT spray detailer works great (although, to my naked eye, it seemed that the NXT was just a little bit more resiliant...this is obviously highly subjective, however).
- I prefer Black Magic tire shine over the Zaino tire shine. The only bad part about the black magic tire shine is that if excess cleaner is left on the tire, it may end up on the fenders from wheel rotation.
- I want to try Adam's Car Care products next in an attempt to further compare/contrast results.

I'm a regular user of the NXT detailerand really like it, but at Bloomington Gold in St. Charles last week, at the West Coast Corvette Tent, they were handing out samples of Adam's detailer (and other Adam's products). I have to admit, it does a really nice job. I can't be completely objective since it's a sample size bottle and I haven't tried it side by side w/ the NXT yet. Has anyone out there tried Adams, and if so, what do you think? Thanks Zuti

Maybe we see why she's the "ex!"
