The real Evil Twin lives in Pennsylvania, from what I recall.

Sounds like Evil-Twin just called out, Evil Twin......this could get ugly.

I'm going to close my eyes.

You're peeking.
I hope that the "classic ET" sticks around. That last statement sounded like he's done with CF.

Why not, Bill? Serious question.

Although it's kind of ironic for Evil-Twin to not have an Evil Twin wouldn't you think??
I'd have thought he'd welcome it since, he needs a twin to be a twin??

I wish that were true. Not that it's really any of my business- other than not wanting to lose a valuable member- but the classic ET has not posted much in recent months. I've seen a few less desirable (IMHO) members battle with him in the past months and I think that he's grown tired of it. I hope I'm wrong. He has helped me more than once.

I agree. Evil-Twin has helped me many times in the past as well.

I used to get really upset when the few jerks attacked me and I caught a lot of crap from many people here on the Forum. Now, I just report them to the Moderators and it all gets sorted out.

Going to the Cruise In in BG, KY was the turning point on how I view this wonderful Forum. Meeting Grumpy, Savewave, Zilla, Lager99, Barkingowl, Z06-Jim, GB Vette, The FL Leghumpers and so very many other members radically changed my thinking. You may have noticed that I do not post in C5 General much anymore. I'm in other parts of the Forum now.

But if Evil-Twin does leave that will be a great loss to this forum. I truly hope he reconsiders.

So - to the original Evil-Twin : we got your back.

EG

Bill has too much to offer to not join in, but he shouldn't have to put up with harassment from as he calls them "wantabe" experts and inexperienced newbies.

If some of the newer people who don't know the real E-T would check his past posts, you find he has considerable Corvette experience and knowledge.

the original is an asset
however here recently hes gotten testy when someone says something that is not what he agrees upon
ive seen in more than one post where he starts the "i spent x amount of years engineering this car" dont get me wrong he does know lots about the c5 corvette and may have very well engineered the c5 but that doesnt mean he has to get upset because someone disagrees with him its engineer syndrome i guess
at my job i work with several engineers and all of them are the same when it comes to questioning something they deem is true (they can be very close minded on such things)almost arrogant and wont listen to reason
the last thread i remember his dropping the ive engineered this car bomb was the 30 psi cold tire pressure thread
i dont know maybe growing older has made him lose patience or getting set in his ways
i dont know
but ive seen it coming for awhile by the particular responses from numerous threads
all in all we all know from expierience et is going to do what he feels and say what he wants but a little patience wouldnt hurt
after all
nobodys' perfect or is expected to be
i mean im close but not quite perfect

Losing Evil-Twin would be a great loss to this forum

BTW, I am considering my name here to Evil-Grin so people will get me confused with EG
