I'm reading 41 degrees at the vent register motoring down the highway with 95 degrees outside. The system is untouched since the factory sealed it up and charged the system in 1999. I've got 107K miles on her.
remove airbridge, radiator shroud and then lift and separate the front condensor from the radiator....it will move forward about 1-1 1/2 inches..BE CAREFUL dont break anything....hose it out really good....be surprised how much crap is in there...then carefully reassemble

My car is a coupe but the a/c is always on down here in Alabama. I took a trip to Lake Havasu City, AZ one time and I thought my outside temp reading was way off.... it was showing 120 deg outside!! Well let me tell you the temp gauge was most certainly correct. I almost roasted when I opened the door and got out of the car. That was the hottest place I've ever been. It sure was nice and cool in the Vette though.
