Default Installing exhaust

Hey everybody. My dad finally decided on a new exhaust. He is going to pick up a borla stinger system. I was wondering how hard it would be to install ourselves? thanks.

If you dont have a lift it can take a while to get car up on stands but after that no time at all simple job.

If you cut out the old, it is very very easy. If you want the old one in one piece the back end of the car needs to be way way up in the air...

Default exhaust

You can do it yourself pretty ez or take it to a muffler shop they will do it for less than 100.00 bucks I am sure.

I put the Corsa Indy on mine yesterday. No lift, just a jack and a piece of 4x4 to get it high enough to roll the originals out. Once I rolled it out, I lowered it and did it all in about 2 hours.
I still do not have them even. My right side extends out a little more. Not sure which adjustment to make for that.

Just one tip no one has mentioned. If you've got an A4 remove or at least loosen the heat shield on the passenger side. You'll see it when you get under there. If you don't you'll wrestle it all day long and not get the old one out. This whole step in unnecessary if you have an MN6 or don't mind cutting the old system. Good Luck!

PS - If you use a jack get it up as high as you can and then take it a couple more inches. You'll think it's standing on it's nose. Also use stands!!!

Thanks for all the responses. Thanks for the tip on the sway bar. Don't know anybody with a lift, but we are gonna give it a go.

Easy to do if you can get the car about 3' in the air. Otherwise, it can be a chore. Good luck.
