Now you can sleep at night. Just installed mine last summer even though I had no problems. Better safe than sorry.

I have an extended warranty but I was not about to get stranded for some simple preventive work I could do. Also for us Manual cars, even if GM paid for the tow, the fix would not prevent wheel from locking again.
