This happened to me once a couple years ago but I can't remember what the dealer did to correct the problem. Talking to a guy with a98 coupe, he tells me that all of a sudden he loses power and the car will barely move even when the gas pedal is pushed all the way down.The computer read-out says something about active handling and reduced power. Anyone know what the problem is since this guy has already paid a thousand to a dealer and the problem is not corrected yet. My car was under warrranty when it happened to me and I can't recall what the problem was. Thanks for any help guys.

Could be as simple as the battery or cleaning the grounds. Bill Curlee has a great write-up about this in the tech section under the title IMPORTANT ELECTRICAL INFORMATION (Long!) Excellent write up by our electrical wizard
