No more BSM!!!

Well yesterday I decided to take the plunge and remove the "beloved" body side molidings. Here are a couple of pics. I do have to get the car wet sanded a little on one side but I will soon be adding a flush rear spoiler and will get the wet sanding done while the car is at the body shop. Overall I really like the look with out the moldings!!!

Is the spot you need wetsanded the spot behind the driver's door where the reflection gets all distorted?

Thanks! It's actually the door itself; the car had some minor damage to the front quarter about a year ago and the door was resprayed to blend the paint. This caused a "line" across the top of thr bsm. It was not noticable till I removed the molding.

I'll take care of this in about a month.

I'm thinking about removing mine also, your car looks great, you might have to respray that door to get rid of the tape line....do you have pics of the spoiler?

Your car looks really nice! Good job.

I had my BSM's removed a few months ago, and love the new look. It's much easier to wax now as well.

What spoiler are you having installed?

Good job! At first I didn't like the sans bsm look, but its been growing on me. I doubt it will be done on my vette anytime soon though, because the thought of removing all that double sided tape makes me cringe.
