Hood help???
Thanks for the posts and pics. Now the wait begins

Blood pressure is rising!
I know both the impatient and repair the car from damage feeling. Ive been visiting mine for 3 months now.

It took 3-4 weeks just to get all the parts. Then it took nearly 2 months to get the body fitted, sanded, primed, jammed, painted, sanded, and back together again.
I lost the front bumper, the hood, left front panel, left door (whole thing), left headlight, left front wheel, left quarter panel, and left front suspension. Car was completely stock.
Talk about losing your mind when waiting to have it fixed - the list of mods that came out of this accident:
ACP Motorsports wide body kit w/ integrated rear spoiler
ACP Motorsports Magna High-Rise Heat Extractor Hood
Full GM T1 Suspension w/ matching Sachs shocks
CCW SP500 rims 19x11 w/ 305x30 front, 19x13 w/ 355x25 rear
Wilwood 14" drilled and slotted rotors, w/ steel braided lines and SLP-6 in the front 4 in the rear
C5R Style brake-ducts for the front
Cold air screens (prep for the A&A Corvette PS1C kit that will go on in about a month - have the intercooler now)
Z06 Rear ducts
Short-throw shifter
Magnaflow X-Pipe
Borla Stingers w/ quad ovals
Ive been dreaming of the finished product. The car should be back together on Monday - just need to wait for the new front wheels to arrive (1-2 weeks out still
)

Sorry to hear about your car.
You had me doubting my starting line skills with that post until this past weekend in Norwalk. My worst reaction time during competition was a .059
By the way took to class wins on two different bikes. One was one on a reaction time holeshot................so, nah not diminishing , yet!!!!!
This same topic was around a week ago, here is a link so you can see a few more types.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I just installed their “Carbon Fiber Heater Extractor Hood” on my 1999 C5 and it's great. I drove up to one of the largest Corvette shows here in Europe (Corvette FAME 2005) in Valkenburg, Netherlands this past weekend (4 July 05) and my Vette took "Best of Show". I don't know if the hood was the deciding factor, but it sure looked good setting there next to all those sock hooded Vettes.

Congrats on your Best of Show win!
I really like the MCM hood too. It is on my LONG term plans for mods.
