Default Un-freaking believable

I had the dealer install the new carpet to rid the car of the mildew smell from the 7 different water leaks they took 2 weeks to fix. Of course they tried to clean the carpet first with all the jute installed on the back of the carpet. What a mess!

They called to tell me it was ready, I get there after work, 5 hours later and the front of the car is covered in grass and debris. The new carpet they installed is covered in debris(not grass). After raising hell, and turning down their offer to clean it up, I wash it when I get home.Their are 17 different rock chips on the front end and hood. Supposed to take it back today so they can evaluate what to do.

Default Did you check the milage?

I know it's a little bit ****, but I check the milage on my vert before I give them the keys and when I pick it up. I gave them H*** at a transmission shop when I had them replace the clutch and rework the 6 speed on my 2000 vert. They kept it a week and someone put over 600 miles on it.
The owner fired the guy and I got a 40% deduction on my bill. Sometimes the temptation is too great for one of the employees to take your car on multiple "test drives"(cruising for chicks?).

The mileage was the same so it wasn't driven. They just had the grass cut that day and the mowers sprayed rocks all over the front of the car. They didn't even clean it up. They brought it to me all covered with the grass. What a joke.. I was all supportive of this dealer in the beginning when this all started a month ago. No more!

Any dealership that would return to their customer their corvette covered with grass and debris should have their manager fired or whoever is responsible fired. As someone said earlier, that place would be the last place to EVER work on my car again. Idiot's is a understatement.

I am supposed to take it on Monday to have it repaired. Only reason I am having them do it, is for chain of evidence. I don't plan any legal action at this time, but will see how they do with repairs.

Thanks for all the words of encouragement.

You've got to wonder how some places stay in business. Hope they get the car fixed up for you - but check out their body shop carefully. May want to see if they will let you get it fixed at a shop of your choice.
