SPEED Channel is covering the event. Saturday and the MOTO GP on Sunday. All tickets except for Friday events are sold out. That is a good turn out for not having the GP guys stateside for 11 years.

tickets sold. Hmmm, if only one third of that is chicks thats 43,000 . The races will be great, but Cannery Row in
Monterey on saturday night (bars) is not to be missed.

I was going to go, but I sold my bike and the tickets to the event. That is why I drive a vette now. I went last year and it was great, especially going on the bike. Riding a motorcycle made getting in and out real easy, weaving around all of those boxes that were lined up waiting their turn to drive out. Don't you guys forget the SPEED coverage on Tuesday night as well, I think it is the Superbike class.

Hi Jim, I have to work saturday and sunday or else I would hook up with you. I'm having my supercharger installed right now so I need to generate some cash. Sorry but I passed up some tickets today for
friday and saturday (working). I have a friend that does free work
for the track and they give him tickets. I'll ask if he still has any left for
saturday when I see him at work, but I doubt it. If so I will e-mail you.
Next auto races I'll get some and contact you. You should still grab
one of your buddies at the postgraduate school and do some "recon"
until later, Mike

have fun.

oh yeah, there are plenty of hot chicks as well. especially the umbrella girls with the one piece spandex outfits.

I was wrong about tickets sold, TV news said 150,000!
This is not anything like the races of the past few years at
Laguna Seca or anywhere else in the U.S.

For anyone going out there on a bike check out www.pashnit.com or www.southbayriders.com . I've rented bikes in CA and these guys have some of the greatest roads posted online. I thought Rt.1 was the best until I found those sites.-awesome. My pictures from '04 were so impressive that my brother went riding with me there this past January.Feel free to PM or email me for details. Tom
