Default A/C Condensor Trouble

I cant find the previous thread concerning this problem, but I'm having trouble with my A/C drain plug clogging due to junk buildup in the collector (causes water to drain on the floor when A/C runs for prolonged periods of time) . The dealer is quoting $800-1000 to disassemble the dash to clean out the collector. They have unclogged the hose twice only to have it clog again. Any input/ideas??

I think the dealer is goofy.

The dealer is more than likely correct that your A/C drains are clogged.
But they are accessable from under the car in the firewall area. I don't have the precise location but disassembly of the dash is not required.

This is a common problem that is usually first noticed when water leaks into the passenger compartment.
