I have NEVER had a leaking delco battery, and after 5 years this delco battery was finished.
Getting 5 years out of ANY battery is pretty damm good!
plus, like I said before, the optima batteries look just plain ugly and out of place in the engine compartment.

Well...I went and got the 34/78 Red top. Dropped in no problem. The only slight modification I had to make was to slightly bend the metal connectors that connect from the car to the battery terminals.
The connectors almost have a 45 degree angle on them and the 34/78 is slightly taller than the original AC delco.
Other than that it took longer to go get the battery than to put it in.
