Railroad Vette vs. KUDZU
This photo was taken this past spring. The gray twiggy stuff on the rocks is Kudzu, the scourge of the south, dormant over the winter. To learn more than you ever wanted to know about Kudzu, see: http://www.jjanthony.com/kudzu/

Today I agreed to meet some of the guys at the locomotive crane near Anderson quarry, SC. I have not been there for 5 or 6 weeks and had do idea how badly the Kudzu has over run the place. It is a dead zone for Ceil phones so I couldn't call someone to come out and pick be up with their truck and I was too lazy to walk a mile in 93 degree sun shine.
Luckily, I carry some Pam cooking spray in my Vette because sometimes I do have to drive through tall grass and by spraying Pam on, the grass slides off and doesn't scratch up the paint.
So I sprayed it on and in I went. This photo is taken in about the same place as the photo above.
And a close-up
And a driver's eye view.

On the way home i filled up with gas and ran the car through a touch-less car wash to wash off the Pam and bugs and there is not a scratch on it.
But until this winter when the Kudzu freezes back, I will have to have one of my buddies drive me in there in his pickup truck.
