I do think most of them could go at least 200K. Engine quality really hasn't been a problem for any Detroit make since some time in the 1950s.

Zs and C5 been around a while now...should be some testimonials from owners and not just GM or Dealers (?) .... seems there should be some 100k-mile 02 ZO6 on the road?

Yea but did he have any major repairs to the engine during that time. Any engine can go that long, but things do wear down and need replacing.

Shylor makes a good point. I had a Gen III Supra with 216k, I had to replace several items, and the car ended up costing me a fortune to get it to pass emmissions. Many things with many miles (or hours) of use will end up needing to be replaced. I spent a good bit getting it to 216k, but it was cheaper than a car payment, and it let me save for my 96 LT4, which I proudly say never had any work done that needed to be . I did mod it alot and change all the fluids but at 70k it ran like a top with no leaks or oil consumption. I also autocrossed that car.

Realistically speaking I think if you expect to drop some money from time to time on say a water pump, wires, spark plugs, mabye emmision issues, you could get to the 200k mark.

I don't think many cars get far past 100k without something being replaced or going bad.

I don't know what the weak parts are on a ZO6, on the LT4 it was the optispark, waterpump, and often the radiator that caused probles around 75 K. If you expected those issues and had them replaced when needed you were good to 150k IMHO
