Traction System...

It must be the old guys that leave the Traction control on all the time.
that is FUNNY!!
Cajun...I too have had Vettes in the past without the feature of TC and lost my '84 twice on a slightly wet road.
(just kiddin')
) my suggestion to you would be to leave it on to keep yourself out of trouble.
" is not a very helpful solution. Have a Dixie Beer and some crawfish on me

You may find it helpful...you may not. You will find Google helpful too to research topics of interest regarding your car.
The whole point of what I said is that if you (not you personally, but generic) don't understand the system or how it works...and/or are still learning how to drive your car then leave it on so you don't get hurt or lose control of your car in the rain or any other conditions. Not all C5s have Active Handling but all do have Traction Control.
ps...Dixie went out of business a long time ago.

as they say "sh^t happens"; so as having the abilities to drive in the rain (as I do with a class "A" driver's license and a retired heavy equipment operator) I think I can do that
