With my Bullets, I never can get the passenger side to stay even with the driver side. I can pull the driver side down but when I tighten it up, back it goes up higher than the other side. Likewise, I push the passenger side up but when tighten it down, alas, it goes down I've seen some lined up great and when it's usually not aligned, it's the passenger side that hangs down some. Help an amateur!!!!
Had similar alignment problem with my Corsa's. Only thing i can say is you have to play with it for awhile til ya get it just right. Had mine professionally installed...even then it took some time to get 'em perfect. Good Luck!

You have a few options:
1. You may want to add some washers to the bolts under the rubber hanger located in front of the two slots on the back end that support your mufflers. I would add them until you get it even.
2. You also have a spring hanger located in front of the tranny. An adjustment on that might help the height.
3. Take the passenger side off and apply heat and bend the tips to match.

I had the same problem and finally tack welded the slip joints as per the instructions. Problem solved. If you weld just to the edge, you should be able to hit the weld with a cut off wheel should you need to remove them.
I installed the 2-tip bullets and it took shorter time than I thought it would to align them. The aligning was actually accomplished by playing around with the flanges where the bullet system mounts up to the existing stock portion in front of the tranny. Everything else was tightened up except for these flanges. Get somebody to place a level on the exhaust tips and when they are aligned, tighen up the flange bolts.
Thanks for the options. I think the easiest might be adding the washers to the rubber hanger that holds the system. I forgot the tack welding as that's how I did it on my Route 66 sysytem, but I hate putting it on the lift at the local Midas
The secret is to make your adjustments where the H-pipe meetts the over the axle pipes. The fittings where the cat back marry to the over the axle pipes won't correct most alignment issues.
Just loosen the two bolts and have a buddy and a level align the tips then retighten the bolts.

I used a trolley jack with a piece of soft wood and put this under the exhaust tips, once I had loosened the axle pipe / x-pipe in my case connection.
Jacked the tips until they were both under slight tension and more importantly level with the rear of the car. Then tightened the bolts up again and bingo you are done
Best wat to get access to the bolts is to put an axle stand under each side of the car probably the rear suspension mounting points is best, it is also a good idea to do this on firm level ground i.e. the floor of your garage.
Mine were off by a good 1.5 inches. I have the exhaust plate that mounts to each tailpipe and the difference in height was completely amplified when the plate was added. I tried everything... first by driving around until they were really got, got underneath and tried bending it back in place... didn't work. Tried jacking up one side and leaving it there for an hour... nope. Messed with the rubber hangers but didn't have enough slack to level. Unbolted them where they mounts to the h-pipe, aligned... retightened... Nope. I said hell with it and took it to the chevy dealer. Exactly what they did I have no idea but it's fixed and warranty covered it.
