Crappy hood insulation liner!!!!!!!!!!
Like the title says. I think the hood liner is a piece of crap. Mine is a year old and is badly separating at the edges. I was going to take it down to paint the center, but I'm concerned it will fall apart. Taking it back to the Chev dealer today. Should get a new one under warranty. It will be the same thing I'm sure. It would be nice if there was a good quality one on aftermarket. Anyone know of one?

The one from Carmotorsports uses the stock hood liner and has a "blanket" that is attached over the stocker. It looks a heckuva lot nicer than a stock one. No disrespect to Paula H and the folks that have one of her pieces of art, but the stock liner is still the stock liner!

Mine was dong the same thing. I thought it was BECAUSE I painted it.
I used a little 3M #77 Spray adhesive on certain spots and voila! No more separation!

Seriously, it has almost 50K miles on it and I drive it on cruises and around town at night. I'm prolly no different than the rest of the fanatics here on the CF - drive it 25% of the time and detail and clean it 75% of the time!
