..good idea
In fact, I thought if I could find the clear reflector material to match the rear marker lens I might replace the dark tint...
...but I like the sharp contrast with the chrome...

dont forget to post pics

Hey BW1
you indeed used the same chrome covers I used...
...and indeed that are a quality porduct!

I guess you agree the material that came with the reflectors was rather cheesy looking...
...I like your idea of powder coating the chrome grid

and the outcome with the 3m reflective tape is terrific!...

Chrome actually does well for StuzVette but your results are outstanding!

...either way...if anyone else is thinking of doing this..
...the mod end requires some creativity with the lens...

Yeah... the ironic part is, if asked, the mfg would probably say it was a high-performance weight reduction feature.

Thanx. What I had in mind with the "stealth" reference was a black frame with a black 3M reflector, on a black door.

Since you have a chrome thing already goin on though, go for it!

Carry on.

BW1...
Yeah... the ironic part is, if asked, the mfg would probably say it was a high-performance weight reduction feature.
...and hp rating may vary between corvettes...

...hmmm like so many mods...they seem to stir creative improvements...

...since these are billet...I may be tempted to remove the chrome and pollish the billet aluminum...

Bob...thanks for the idea...

peace
