Welcome to the club. I've got the dual tips too and they are perfect for me. We just did a 2500 mile trip to New England and the sound was the best it could be. No resonance and just the right amount of burble.
I've got the dual tips too and I think they are a little too quiet at cruising speeds. Unless I have a headache, then I can really hear them. I also get no resonance and that's a big relief as my C4 had some issues with resonance.
A&A had the best price when I bought mine. My 2-tip look great and sound even better, but aren't loud enough for me. Hoping LT headers will give me the volume I'm after.
Got the Borla Stingers installed yesterday. Jury's still out as to whether its too much sound or not. May take some getting used to. Is there anything I can do to temper the sound a bit that won't cost an arm and a leg?
Any X-Pipe will help about 20% So will http://www.quietcar.net/?google about an additional 20 to 50%. Funny thing the longer that you drive the car the more accustom you become to the sound. At first it drove me nuts but now I really miss the sound when I am in another car. We are all different as to what we like and can tolerate when it comes to sound, and there is a wide opinion on the Stingers. I think you made a good choice, it may take some time to get accustom the interior sound.
