2001 Underhood Light
The underhood light on my 2001 was real dim, almost yellow in color with the hood up. I checked voltage, no problem. Put bulb back in and it got cloudy inside and burned out immediately.
Owners manual does not spec this bulb. Went to auto parts store and bought a 561, and a 562. Both look identical, same physical size etc. Parts store had no idea which to use.
They both look the same in the car - nice and bright. Don't see a difference in brightness.
Does anyone know what the correct bulb number is for this application? Manual says to contact dealer for bulb number. Figured someone here would know.
