LETS SEE THE FINISHED...or semi finished pictures! When's the bumper going on?!
Chris
I'm hoping they will have the majority of the parts back on the car within a couple days.
I'm still waiting for a couple of things to get here and then painted.
Keeping my figures crossed that I might be driving it home by next weekend.

That's JUST HOT. Great job. I can't wait to see the entire car back together.

Great job
Is it true Meguiars painted your car for you to match their trailer rig? Saw the small article in Corvette Magazine.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Any particular motels you might recommend in the area. I bet it would be hard to find a place to stay.
My friend and I refer to that kind of show as a "Q-tip contest" because that is what its all about. Its not really how cool your car is, its how clean your car is. You would definitely have the baddest car there, but if its not clean in all the right places, you would get your *** kicked. Jim and Danny really helped me last year in finding dirt that I didnt even know was there, especially in the engine compartment. The only point I lost last year was for a few specs of dust on my passenger side visor mirror
. Thats nuts, but thats the kind of stuff they look for.The only bad part about that is that if you do that show, you have to dedicate about 90% of your time to just cleaning and hanging out with your car so you end up missing a LOT of the rest of the activities.
Hotels will be nearly impossible to find right now within 30 miles. They usually sell out at least 6 months in advance. You might contact Jim (Iceburgh) because he usually has some connections since he lives right there. If nothing else, just check online and see what you can find. Keep watching up until the week before because thats usually when people start cancelling their extra reservations.
Good luck, let me know if there is any way that I can help.
