need to polish some aluminum zo6 wheels, no clearcoat just polished..tire guys got some mounting suds on them and stained them so they need to be polished out, what to use??? suggestion from a maga company said "Wenol", where can I get it??? any other suggestions from those who have been there, done that. thanks guys.
Wenol is an excellent polish for non-clear coated wheels.
There are two different kinds of the Wenol polish, one is the "original" polish in a red tube, the other is the softer, gentler polish that comes in a blue tube.
I use the one in the blue tube for my wheels and it does a great job.
One other polish I've used on my wheels with great results is called Simichrome. It is also an excellent metal polish.
You can also use Wenol Polish. This is in a pink colored tube. It is much finer and you can acutally use it on your clearcoat without issues. Last a very long time too. For the wheels, I'd use the blue. A little of this goes along way.

I was wanting to do this myself. I pay $30 when I go to the car wash I have the guy use an orbital buffer on the wheels with polish. They come out beautiful. Does anybody know what pad to use? I want to take my wheels off and do the inside!
