I took out the ugly deck screws and rusty washers and replaced with chrome screws from Ecklers...
...also added chrome screws in doors
plastic was upgrade in place of the older cracking pieces...
and to top them off...the decal on the upper fascia...
Vince Stella did the ground work on the CF for these very cool decals
..pretty easy to do...and they are removable...
I just dont know if they can be reapplied?!???
I prefer the more laid-back of the "stripeing" around the lower rear panel rather than the solid vinyl covering (which still looks nice), probably because I'm more concerned about the black vinyl showing dirt more easily than the torch red paint on my car... especially when you consider the blackened vinyl panel is probably the closest thing to the ground on the vehicle. Stu... you always do such tasteful mods... beautiful job.

..thanks...
...sometimes the mod is not all I want but if making the mod leads to something better that is still a good mod

Stu,
We (me and ZO6Joe) were talking about you and your car at our local Vette show this past weekend and I think I said the dreaded, "That guy Stu has done every tasteful mod possible to his Vette." Of course that statement caused a ripple in the cosmic mod fabric and voila - you come up with another. BTW, I said tasteful because I think that in terms of raw mods you have a rival in our brother England Green. Know that your labors have started conversations way up here in Maryland.
Good job Stuart, that really looks good!
It's amazing to me how you find the time to do anything to your own car.
Between your family, the full time ministry obligations, and the constant lending a helping hand to other forum members, when the heck do you sleep?
By the way, I enjoyed our conversation today, thanks again.
